poker_events1. Phil Ivey wins two bracelets and takes the 7th place at WSOP
Before the beginning of the World Series of Poker many people had been forecasting that Phil Ivey would be one of the winners . And it turned out to be the truth. Phil Ivey, who is considered to be the best  poker player according to the opinions of other professional players, took part in many WSOP tournaments and made them more exciting in 2009.
Daniel Negreanu and Erick Lindgren were so sure that Phil Ivey would become a poker star of this tournament, that  they even didn’t allow anybody to choose him as an opponent as wanted to fight with him themselves. Ivey in his turn added to his collection of bracelets two more. He is still 32 and has already won 7 WSOP championships. In 2009 he managed to take place at the final poker table of the main tournament, but he didn’t succeed and took only the 7th place.

2. Russ Hamilton is gilty of a scandal at UltimateBet
There were a lot of gossips that  Russ Hamilton, a champion of WSOP-2004, had a direct attitude to  the deception of UltimateBet and Absolute Poker users, who could use the possibilities of  poker leak buster, analyze their game and took part in tournaments. This event caused great harm to online poker industry. Two years passed after the deception was revealed  and Kahnawake Gaming Commission made a verdict. After detailed investigation it has become known that 23 accounts were used by a man or a group of people to deceive the site clients. The names of these people were not announced but  Russ Hamilton and 31 men were involved in the site management.

3. The success of mysterious Isildur1 from Sweden
Recently, Isildur1 has won the biggest sums of money, playing at poker tables with the highest rates at Full Tilt Poker. Everybody, envolved in the world of poker was greatly surprised. 12  poker banks were played  for the last 2 months and this unknown player took part in all these tournaments, where the biggest sums of money were won. Probably, he improved his skills with the help of poker leak buster, which helped him to become such experienced player and make his game perfect. His agressive style of playing and his readiness to fight with anybody at the table with the highest rates made him a real online poker star. It is the first case in poker history when father and son  achieved such results. For Jeff and Barry Shulman last year was rather profitable. This family takes rather significant place in the world of poker. Jeff reached the final of WSOP and Barry won the Series of Poker Europe with the prize of $1,3m. Jeff took the 5th place, winning $1,95m.

The record, set by Joe Cada, will be remembered by everybody, interested in poker. He managed to get a champion title at 21. He put his chips in the centre of the table, which had been rather risky for him many times, but he won and luck took his side.
